It’s hard to believe that I have been blogging since 2005. Not many folks in our area even knew what a blog was then. I started out writing to share my family’s adventures moving out to a small farm, but one thing led to another, and soon enough, a whole lot of my life was out on the world wide web.
My blogging grew to writing for publication. Before long I was working full-time for a magazine having a jolly good time working with others scattered all over the country, writing, marketing, brainstorming, coordinating events, growing our audience base, and learning from some of the very best.
So, then blogging began to take a back seat . . . and it’s been hard to get back into the groove of things since I do so much other writing now.
But I miss it, and I love reading through my old entries.
My blog has become part family scrapbook, part journal of things I didn’t want to forget, and a whole lot of encouragement from others.
So, until I figure out what I’m doing, thanks for bearing with my work-in-progress.
