Lessons Learned on the Farm

You’ve gotta see this picture!

It is boo scary.  It's an actual picture of the tornado that came through our area taken from a weather camera on top of the local hospital.  You can only see the tornado because of the lightning lighting up the sky.

There were over 100 homes destroyed and many reported injuries, but fortunately no deaths.  Absolutely amazing, huh?

Tornodas scare me more than other natural disasters. With floods and hurricanes you at least have a warning! With tornados you can just be sleeping soundly in your bed and GULP, be sucked out of the top of your house like Dorthy on the wizard of oz. That is truly a miracle, there were no deaths.

    Amazing picture!

I remember when I was little we had a tornado in our back yard which split into two more tornados. My feet didn’t want to move! I wanted to see those monsterous things, but I also wanted to seek shelter.
