Tony found this cool video on a website that shows what happens when you leave an egg in vinegar. It's so cool. The vinegar basically dissolves the shell of the egg leaving just the transluscent membrane holding the yolk. It's a SEE-THROUGH Egg! Very neato!
Our egg is still soaking in the vinegar, but it's working. I thought some of you all might enjoy trying this with your kids...

Well I thought that those of you who know me in real life would be interested in these Thanksgiving photos. We spent Thanksgiving at my mom's this year, which that in and of itself is a big deal. We haven't done that since my dad died 4 years ago and I wasn't sure if I was going to like it.

Now these results actually surprised me a bit since most people comment on my Southern drawl, but I suppose my English and Public Speaking teachers would be proud. Even though I've got a definite Southern drawl, I actually do know and am capable of enunciating words properly when needed!

I was so sad to hear about Lorrie Gnos' passing. But I love that her sister said that she left without any regrets or fears. I would hope that my family could say the same with such grace and strength if something happened to me.
Remember to pray for her family and savor the day with your own...
